Khadir T.’s interest in aviation began with his father, a current 757/67 Captain at United, who fostered his fascination with airplanes from a young age.

“Just being around airplanes my whole life made me want to fly,” Khadir shared.

He started his journey to the skies as a flight school student and then Certified Flight Instructor at ATP, an Aviate partner flight school, in Conroe, TX. He later flew at CommuteAir, an Aviate United Express partner, as a First Officer and then Captain.

Khadir is thrilled he had the opportunity to follow in his father’s footsteps and kick off his pilot career on a United flight deck, where he can fly with his father.
