B737 First Officer Arish K. wanted to be a pilot for as long as he could remember. As an American of Indian descent, his family visits to India during the summers helped him realize his passion for travel and turned it into his life goal.

“Travel is the best education,” Arish shared.

Arish attended one of our Aviate partner universities, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University-Daytona, where he received all his ratings and went on to instruct as a Certified Flight Instructor. After building his hours, he was ultimately upgraded to Captain at Commute Air, an Aviate United Express partner.

With all these connections to Aviate, Arish joined with the knowledge that it was the most secure path to United. Guidance from his good friend and mentor B757/67 First Officer Trevor, plus our unrivaled culture and route network, helped convince Anish that United was the best place for him.
