Growing up in a family full of aviators, Michael R. knew from a young age that he wanted to be a United pilot.

With this goal in mind, he completed his undergraduate and master’s degree, along with his flight instruction, at our partner Embry Riddle Daytona and joined Aviate through the university entry point.

“I joined Aviate because I knew it was the most direct and supportive path to becoming a United pilot,” Michael shared.

After hard work and plenty of time building his skills in the skies, Michael is now a United B737 First Officer based in Washington, D.C.
