Aviate partner university
You have some flight experience and are planning to get, working towards, or have graduated with either:
- A degree that provides eligibility for an R-ATP certificate from an
- A Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating from an Aviate university partner
- Any combination of the above
Aviate partner flight school
You have some flight experience and are not seeking a college degree, and have:
- Have received a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating from an Aviate flight school partner
Experience build
You are currently flying or are looking to build flight experience as either a:
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) at an
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) at an
- Commercial pilot at an
Flying for UAX
You are eligible to earn or already have an R-ATP/ATP and are either:
- Interested in flying for an
- Currently working for an Aviate-participating United Express carrier
United Aviate Family Programs
You are in the United family and are either:
- An active employee
- A dependent of an employee
- A current or former intern
Aviate professional organization member
You are a current and active member of an Aviate-participating aviation organization who has been:
- Nominated by your organization
Other programs
These aren’t Aviate programs, but are options that you can pursue.
Youth programming
You are under 18 and currently ineligible for Aviate, but can prepare for Aviate eligibility by:
- Taking a Young Eagles flight with your local Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) chapter
- Expanding your aviation knowledge with a free EAA AeroEducate account
United Military Pilot Program
You are an active-duty U.S. Armed Forces pilot who wants to reach United.
- This is not an Aviate entry point
- Military pilots can simply apply directly to United through the United Military Pilot Program
United First Officer
You are an experienced pilot who is actively flying for another airline but want to join United.
- This is not an Aviate entry point
- OA Part 121 pilots can apply directly to United
