B737 First Officer Anthony always dreamed of becoming a pilot, which stemmed from his early passion for model airplanes at the age of 13. When he got out of the Air Force, he knew it was time to start chasing that dream.

Anthony completed his flight training in Florida and then became a pilot for GoJet Airlines, one of Aviate’s United Express Carrier partners. While working at GoJet, his Assistant Chief Pilot told him all about the Aviate program. While he was helping with recruitment at GoJet, he also met several United pilots, which solidified his excitement for a potential future with the airline.

“I found that United was a great company to work for from all the testimonials I heard while sitting in the jump seat over the years,” Anthony shared. “The people, that’s why I chose United.”

Once he started his career with us, Anthony was glad that United’s base flexibility allowed him to remain based out of Orlando, Florida (MCO).
