B737 Guam-based First Officer Dan T. didn’t always want to become a pilot and was initially enrolled in a collegiate music program until he spoke to his next-door neighbor and learned more about the world of aviation.

From there, Dan enrolled in flight training at a school in New Zealand, where he spent time attaining his ratings. Then, Dan moved to Australia to flight instruct and leaned into acrobatic flying.

His next step in his career brought him to the U.S., where he flew for CommuteAir, one of Aviate’s United Express partners. Finally, he applied for the Aviate program and transitioned to United upon completion of program requirements.
