Aviate wrapped: 2024 events, milestones & partnerships in review

Time flies when you have the support of 2,800+ Aviate participants, 34+ Aviate partners and a passionate community of aviation enthusiasts — and this past year was no different.

In 2024, the Aviate team celebrated milestones, connected with prospective and current Aviate participants, honored new partnerships, attended industry events and more.

Check out this year’s Aviate events, partnerships and milestones by the numbers:

• Spotlighted 30+ Aviate success stories on our website, social media and in communications
• Held 12 participant events and orientations
• Attended 6 industry conferences
• Launched and celebrated 4 Aviate partners across the country
• Added 3 new features to the Aviate website: Career Selector tool, an FAQ and an Aviate success stories page
• Held 1 Aviate Partner Leadership Summit at United’s headquarters in Chicago

Let’s look back on 2024 and recognize how far we’ve come and everything we accomplished.

New enhancements for unitedaviate.com:

We added new features to our website to improve your experience.

• Career Selector tool: Find the Aviate entry point that fits you best by answering questions about your experience and adjusting filters to determine your recommended path.

• FAQ page: Learn more about the Aviate program with answers to frequently asked questions on eligibility, entry points, transition requirements and so much more.

• Aviate success stories: This year, Aviate has been sharing the stories of former participants who have charted their path to United through Aviate. To show pride in these remarkable pilots, Aviate has launched a success stories page to highlight their exceptional achievements and inspire those who are looking into Aviate themselves.

Aviate participant events:

We held several in person events, including 6 Aviate orientations at our FTC in Denver and 6 participant events at various United hub cities, filled with opportunities for Aviate participants to meet one another, network and learn from our Aviate and United team members.

Partner launch events:

We welcomed and celebrated four new Aviate partners, and we can’t wait to see their valuable impact on our program and participants.

• University of Oklahoma(OU) – Norman, OK

Industry conferences:

Our Aviate and Pilot Hiring teams connected with aviation enthusiasts and professionals at industry events hosted by our aviation professional organizations. Both teams used this time to interact with both current and aspiring pilots, host forums, hold meet and greets and more. In case you missed it, here’s where we were:
