Welcoming our newest Aviate partner, Epic Flight Academy

We’re proud to announce Epic Flight Academy is an official Aviate partner flight school, offering Epic student pilots and instructors the most direct path to a United Airlines flight deck. Those who apply and are successful in the Aviate selection process will receive a conditional job offer from United, opportunities to connect with members of the United family, mentoring from a United pilot and access to unlimited travel privileges.

Epic is a flight training academy located in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, providing an unparalleled pathway to achieving professional pilot dreams through innovative flight education and technologically advanced aviation resources.

“Epic has been training professional pilots since 1999,” said Danny Perna, CEO. “As a Part 141 flight school, our training is rigorous and meets the highest standards for safety. We purchase all new training aircraft with glass cockpits, so our pilots have every training advantage. It is an honor to launch this program with United Airlines, especially in light of the ongoing pilot shortage. We are looking forward to training many pilots to fly for United Airlines.”

Epic and Aviate partnership launch event

We joined the Epic team for an exciting launch event where we announced the news of our partnership, shared the latest Aviate updates, and networked with Epic students, instructors and employees. It was the perfect way to celebrate the start of a great partnership and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store! You can watch a live stream of the event on Epic’s Facebook page.
